The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision metal parts according to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery specific for laser cutting as well as hydraulic press brakes, to produce high-precision metal parts;
- Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters as necessary;
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications;
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks;
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times;
- Ensure the quality of finished products meets customer specifications;
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
The Ideal candidate to join our team should have:
- Proven experience as a CNC operator or a similar role;
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to follow processes and procedures;
- Flexibility to work in shifts as needed;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work;
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
It’s a bonus if you also have:
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing processes for metal products;
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM applications and G-code programming language specific for CNC equipment;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
